I loved watching and asking questions during the session. It’s cool being on the other side of the conversation these days. After graduating Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011 (BFA, Illustration) I had a few jobs outside of the art field but still pursued my passion on the side. The last 5+ years I’ve spent my time decorating cakes and cookies. This allowed me to work in a way where I felt purposeful while also using my degree.
I’ve been pushed by my incredibly supportive husband for years to get into tattooing but felt like I lacked the artistic talent and supreme coolness needed to be successful. Alas, in the spirit of YOLO, I went for it and I’m just so damn grateful I did. Every day I get to bring my best to VDTC, my clients and tattooing; I wouldn’t have it any other way! PS. Ask me about my dog.
"Perfectly placed in just the right spot! Gio can take your idea and make it even better!"
"First tattoo done today and Gio was impressive. I love how it turned out!"
"Gio created a kick A$% memorial tattoo in honor of my dad. His linework and shading are phenomenal. His work is unique. Gio is very honest and knowledgeable about what will and will not work."
"I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a tattoo from a first timer to a seasoned vet. Gio is a great artist and wont lead you in the wrong direction."
